Two general councilors visited us from General Government in Rome. Sr. Francisca Matsuoka who is Japanese and Sr. Luz Helena Arroyave from Colombia, visited us for teaching and training new members of General Government of Japan. They both arrived Narita, on the night of 12th of May and start training from next day afternoon.

We have been explained about the role of reign, the relationship with the general government, the priority of jurisdiction and so on.
It is the first time for Sr. Luz Helena to visit Japan, so we spent a little time during their stay and introduced our missionary works. We brought her around and introduced our sisters, then explained about their works. Sr. Luz Helena was a Provincial of Daughter's of St Paul Province in Colombia before she was appointed as a general councilor. Republic of Colombia is the nation of Catholic. There are more than fifty sisters and many Christians are working for the convent.
On the night of 14th, all the sisters in Tokyo were gather and listened about the sisters of Daughter's of St Paul in the world. We saw the photos of new build convents and bookshops, and we felt so close each other.

In the morning of 19th, Sr. Matsuoka and Sr. Luz left Narita to visit Korea. From 19th, the training for Korean sisters began.
It was my first time to see Sr. Luz, however I didn't feel like that. As a same sister from Daughter's of St Paul, it didn't take a long time to get closer, and I feel she is a sister who has same mission. Let us pray deeply for their missions.
